Issue 80: Zoom Registration for Demystifying the Manuscript Class
Welcome to November, Poets and Writers!
Have you heard of the term “biomythography”? It is a fascinating concept that was introduced by writer, poet, and activist Audre Lorde in her groundbreaking book, Zami: A New Spelling of my Name, which was published in 1982. In Zami, Lorde explores her own coming of age in the 1940s and 1950s as a Black lesbian feminist in Harlem. Lorde writes about her relationships with family, friends, and lovers, shedding light on the complexities of identity, race, sexuality, and class.
