We recently came across an interesting article on ways to rewild our attention when it comes to looking for information and inspiration. Most of us turn to the internet to learn new ideas to feed our creativity, but unfortunately, our searches (Google) are ruled by big tech and algorithms that decide what we see. Instead of freely exploring ideas or following genuine curiosity, we’re often corralled into echo chambers, doom-scrolling, or following whatever happens to be “trending.”
Rewilding our attention means breaking free from these controlled environments and letting our minds wander and explore information more organically—like letting a forest grow wild again. It’s about reclaiming our ability to choose where we want to focus, following serendipitous discoveries rather than what an algorithm serves up.
