Hello Muse Readers!

Most of us are aware that a good night’s sleep not only makes us feel refreshed but can assist us in our creative problem solving. Have you ever awakened in the morning (or in the middle of the night), and suddenly you have the perfect title for your chapbook—an issue that had been bothering you for weeks as you struggled to find a unique and attention-grabbing name for your collection of poems? How did the title come to you?

You might know the story of the scientist, Otto Loewi, who was studying the communication between nerve cells in 1920. Loewi woke up in the middle of the night from a dream in which he visualized a way to test his hypothesis, but in the morning, he couldn’t read the notes he had scribbled. He was determined to remember his dream, so the next night he dreamt again of how to prove his hypothesis, and this time, he recalled the details.
