Hello Poets, Writers, and Artists!
Most of you are probably aware of the media buzz surrounding the recent public release of such interactive artificial intelligence programs as ChatGPT and the upcoming release from Google known as Bard. They are basically computer programs that can respond to your questions and commands, drawing information from the vast amounts of data that are available online. They respond as if they are a person answering your inquiry—in a clear, well-written, friendly manner. In many ways, it’s hard to believe you are conversing with a machine.
There are huge ramifications in the wide use of artificial intelligence that are both positive and negative. You may have conversed with an AI (artificial intelligence) program without knowing it when you’ve received any online assistance from a company.
