Hello, Muse Poets!
Over the last two years, we have written several pieces in the Muse dealing with the concept of slow living, which is a lifestyle philosophy encouraging us to slow down, live more intentionally, and prioritize quality over quantity in various aspects of our lives. It counters the fast-paced, productivity-driven attitudes of our modern society, advocating for mindfulness, simplicity, and a more intimate connection to our surroundings. As a creative writer, you are most likely in touch with elements of the slow living mindset because the interplay of inspiration and creative expression often depends on tuning out the chaotic pace of contemporary life to connect with a deeper part of yourself.
