Here is an interesting idea to boost your creative ideas, and in the process, come up with some interesting material for poems—the 30 Circle Challenge. Invented by Robert McKim, a former professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University, the 30 Circle Challenge assists you in the areas of “fluency” and “flexibility” when it comes to thinking creatively.
Fluency has to do with your ability to come up with numerous ideas in a short amount of time, and it focuses on your ability not to edit or second-guess yourself. No idea is too “crazy” or “strange.”
